How is Potassium Nitrate produced - any hyperlinks or answers please?

I am not looking for a way to produce it at home! I can't find the steps (they can be complicated) on how Potassium Nitrate is produced in a lab. Please could I have a link to the site & page that will tell me? Thanks in advance!
